A Vacant Home

The empty cabinets,
The deserted rooms,
The windows broken,
The corners inanimate.
rom attic to basement:
Solely chilly shades and glooms…

Here’s a song for you… Just Say It out Loud by Gamma Skies🎵🎶💙❤🖤 https://open.spotify.com/track/0JK5mu3OhQ17kDnfaENqze?si=YI5dP1o8Rs2P52y5Y8p2mQ&utm_source=native-share-menu&dl_branch=1

The empty cabinets,
The deserted rooms,
The windows broken,
The corners inanimate.

From attic to basement:
Solely chilly shades and glooms.

Our empty words,
Our deserted chats,
Our promises broken,
Our trust inanimate.

From the heart and mind:
Solely coldness and apathy.

Specks and decks of dust,
Spider webs all around,
Torn carpets, shredded walls,
A foul scent of the dead.

That is what’s a vacant home,
Dead.
It might as well be a haunted house.

Years of friendships turned to dust,
“I don’t cares” and “Whatever’s” all around,
A torn past, a shredded present,
Memories of us are now all numb-dead.

That is what we have become now,
Dead.
And no one to blame for why or how.

A broken friendship

So yeah, stuff happens and good friends grow apart. It is no one’s fault and neither friend is to blame. It just happens.. doesn’t it? “VIRTUAL LIVING” and lack of conversation has made friendships very vulnerable.. You find out you have nothing to talk about. Once close friends drift away and you feel betrayed…

Soon the pain numbs and you realize you don’t even care. There is just an empty emotion for them.

But you do care.. so for the last time just reach out to the ones who have left. What happens next, I am not sure of… yet you should try again.. reach out. You might get a closure or realize you are not compatible.. but some friends are too precious to “just let go.”

Fill the vacant voids..
