Changed Perception

Recall,
The thoughtless days,
Smiling- a remedy,
And the solitary feeling-
Sweet joy.
Teen years old, and you realized,
Smiling’s a miracle,
The truth though is-
Sour pain.

Hiee!! Firstly, Happy Republic Day!!๐Ÿงก๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’š
I wrote this poem( butterfly cinquain) for this week’s prompt at Tanka Tuesday Challenge hosted by Colleen. The theme was Memories: Sweet and Sour. Hope you like my first challenge!โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜
