Day 3-Leave

3. Find the nearest book of any kind. Turn to page 8 and use the first ten full words in a poem.

The book I chose was Unposted Letter by Mahatria Ra. And I used 7 words instead of tenπŸ˜…- Easy, way, top, choose, drive, accept, traffic.

see all prompts here.

I want to leave for a long drive,
Under a starless sky,
Escape the traffic,
Find a lonely town,
On some mountain top,
And never come down,
So that I can forget my way home,
Forget that I see her in my dreams.
Was it easy, was it fun for her?
Raiding my head then breaking my heart,
Because I feel pain every, every where,
I am tired, weak, and so ,so done,
My defeat I accept,
Could someone please,
Lend me a car?
I want to leave for a long drive,
Under a starless sky,
Escape the traffic,
Find a lonely town,
On a mountain top,
And never ever come down.
