Day 10- Stories

oh wow! Halfway there!!!!๐Ÿ˜Ž

10. Pick a one ling song lyric to serve as an epigraph to your poem.

bleghhh this poem is not my favorite piece… picking the lyric itself took foreeeeeeeeeeeeever!! Its from the song Bleach by Isaac Dunbar.

Once I said I love you, I ran away…

You told me you love those stories,

The ones that fed your romantic soul,

How broken hearts healed each other,

When the world made sense of chaos,

The stories of fate.

So I gave you my words,

I ran away from my promises,

I messed with our fantasy,

I even crushed your heart,

Just so I could heal it myself,

I wished to give you your own story,

Like the ones you love,

And forever seal our fate.

  2. Understand
    (Worlds Smallest Violin)
    Somewhere in the universe
    Somewhere someone’s got it worse
    Wish that made it easier
Wish I didn’t feel the hurt

People say itโ€™s not that bad
But do they know that makes me sad?
    They donโ€™t really understand
Iโ€™ve lived through the worst, firsthand.

I need help but they donโ€™t care,
    Theyโ€™re just very unaware.
Canโ€™t get out of this despair.
    Any sympathy to spare?

(I used a whole stanza, the first one.)

    1. Oh my god thats so insane
