You are not as colorless as you think.
You may not be yellow,
Not like sunshine, radiant.
You may not be blue,
Not like the skies, open.
You may not be pink,
Not like roses, glamorous.
You may not be green,
Not like leaves, tranquil.
But you are not colorless,
You are not glass, bare.
You are black,
So easy to camouflage.
You are white,
So easy to overlook.
You are ash,
A bit dull behind your words.
But so what,
Isn’t grey a shade too?
You have it all,
The clouds, the rain, the sunshine,
And before you know it,
A rainbow will dye you colorful.

NO. I DID NOT DISAPPEAR!
